We craft it in small quantities from three traditional Sicilian cultivars grown on our land and on our local partner farm: Cerasuola, Nocellara del Belice, and Biancolilla. Olives are pressed within hours of harvest to preserve the vibrant flavour and high concentration of polyphenols.

Our extra virgin olive oil has an acidity below 0.2%, and its polyphenol content ranges between 280 and 400 mg/kg. The exact level in the oil varies naturally from year to year, influenced primarily by rainfall and temperature during the growing season. 

Borgo Naera extra-virgin olive oil has a green colour with possible golden-yellow highlights and a harmonious yet elegant aroma with pronounced tomato notes complemented by marked balsamic hints. On the palate it is enveloping, with tomato taking the lead, well accompanied by herbaceous undertones. Noteworthy is the balance between bitterness and pungency.

Shipping Information

Pre-order: Our olives are hand-picked and cold-pressed in early October, then filtered and bottled immediately to preserve their full organoleptic character. Orders ship in November, and you'll receive tracking as soon as yours leaves the grove.

We offer simple and transparent shipping for all orders:

• Europe (Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Netherlands, Spain): Flat rate of €8. Orders are shipped directly from within the EU.

• Switzerland: Flat rate of CHF 8. Orders are shipped to Swiss customers from within Switzerland, so there are no extra fees upon delivery.

• If you order more than one bottle, you pay the shipping fee only once.

• From three bottles or more, shipping is free.
